Save the date! The Boston University's Department of Occupational Therapy & Rehabilitation Counseling annual Lead the Way symposium will be on Monday, May 19, 2008. The Symposium is a one-day professional development experience which promotes research and scholarship to the occupational therapy community in the greater Boston area. The Lead the Way Symposium will feature a keynote address from Dr. Wendy Coster, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, Chair, Department of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Counseling, Boston University Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Coster will give her 2008 Eleanor Clarke Slagle lecture entitled "Embracing Ambiguity: Facing the Challenge of Measurement." At the Lead the Way Symposium, students from our online post-professional Master of Science program will come to Boston University and present evidence summaries in areas such as early intervention, sensory integration, hand therapy, adult mental health, and adult physical rehabilitation. The Symposium is free, but space is limited so please let us know that you will be attending by May 1, 2008.
